Welcome to The Renmy Store. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

1. About Us

The Renmy Store is an Australian family-owned business operated by Renee and Mick Whittaker, based in Agnes Water, Queensland, Australia. We sell Australian-made and curated homewares, custom signs, wall clocks, gifts, and related products.

2. Ordering

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by The Renmy Store.
  • By placing an order you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or suspected fraudulent activity. A full refund will be issued in such cases.
  • For custom and personalised orders, you are responsible for ensuring all text, spelling, and details provided are correct. Signs are produced exactly as requested.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of your order will apply.
  • Full payment is required before any order is processed or dispatched.
  • We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal, Afterpay, and Zip Pay. By using Afterpay or Zip Pay you agree to their respective terms and conditions.
  • Free delivery is included in our product prices for standard Australian delivery. Additional charges may apply for oversized, heavy items, or remote locations — you will be contacted before dispatch if this applies.

4. Custom & Personalised Orders

  • Custom and personalised products are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
  • You are responsible for checking all spelling, text, and details before submitting your order.
  • The Renmy Store is not responsible for errors in customer-supplied text or artwork.
  • If you supply artwork or logos for use in your sign, you confirm that you have the legal right to use that artwork and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • AI-generated images may not be print-ready. A graphic design fee may apply if artwork requires professional redrawing. You will always be advised of any additional charges before work proceeds.
  • Production times for custom orders are estimates only and may vary. We will communicate any significant delays.

5. Delivery

  • We deliver Australia-wide via Australia Post and courier services. All orders include tracking.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post, couriers, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address. We are not liable for orders lost or delayed due to an incorrect address.
  • International orders (USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand) are the recipient's responsibility for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees upon delivery.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the carrier upon dispatch. Transit insurance is included on all orders.

6. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our Postage, Returns & FAQ page for full details on our returns and refunds policy. Key points:

  • Change of mind returns accepted within 30 days in original condition. Return postage and a 10% restocking fee apply.
  • No returns on custom, personalised items, or soaps/personal care products.
  • Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence including all packaging.
  • Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these terms.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website including text, images, logos, and designs is the property of The Renmy Store or its suppliers and is protected by Australian copyright law.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Renmy Store's liability for any claim arising from the use of our website or products is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.

10. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and store your personal information.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
