Black Iron Hanging Bird Feeder | Scrollwork Roofed Tray | 19.5cm Garden Decor

Add a touch of vintage charm to your garden with this black iron hanging bird feeder. Curled scrollwork frames an open round tray beneath a gently curved metal canopy, bringing decorative detail to a leafy garden corner or covered verandah.

Hang it where you can enjoy the view from your favourite outdoor seat. The attached chain makes suspension straightforward, while the open sides allow access for refilling and cleaning.

Key Features

  • Matte black iron, as described by the supplier
  • Decorative curled scrollwork supports
  • Curved, ridged metal canopy above the tray
  • Round feeding tray with raised rim and central raised dome
  • Top hanging ring and attached chain
  • Approximately 19.5cm wide × 19cm body height (7.68 × 7.48 inches), as shown in the supplied size image
  • Open-sided design for access and regular cleaning

Size & Dimensions

  • Width: approximately 19.5cm / 7.68 inches
  • Feeder body height: approximately 19cm / 7.48 inches

The size image does not specify the chain length or total hanging drop. Measurements are approximate; allow for minor variation.

Hanging & Placement

Use the attached chain to suspend the feeder from a suitable secure support rated for its filled weight. Check the hanging connection before use and position it where you can reach the tray for regular cleaning. A sheltered garden corner, covered porch or verandah is a practical choice.

The roof offers some overhead cover, but the sides remain open and wind-driven rain can reach the food. This is not a sealed or waterproof container. The central raised dome does not guarantee drainage or prevent mould, so check the tray after rain and remove wet or spoiled food promptly. Follow local wildlife guidance when choosing whether and how to feed wild birds.

Perfect For

  • Vintage and country-style garden décor
  • Covered verandahs and sheltered patios
  • Leafy courtyard corners
  • Gifts for gardeners and bird enthusiasts

Care

Empty and clean the tray regularly, then dry thoroughly before refilling. Check the chain and supports for wear. Iron can develop rust over time, so avoid prolonged moisture exposure and choose a sheltered position where possible. A rust-free finish is not guaranteed.

What's Included

1 × black hanging bird feeder with attached hanging chain. Bird food and styling accessories are not included.

Love them - these remind me of old vintage secateurs

These remind me of old vintage secateurs - they are easy to use and comfortable handles - really love them and they have been excellent cutting flowers and trimming small branches away. Definitely my favorite pair of secateurs and use them all the time! I had the bird hooks [another purchase from Renmy Store] mounted on a piece of timber and it hangs up outside in my garden utility area - the secateurs hang here on the middle hook and very convenient to grab when out in the garden.

Practical rain guage and looks gorgeous.

This is so lovely and has been very useful measuring recent rain - it secures well into ground but I decided to use mine inside a tall pot plant and it is attractive addition to the pot plant - and practical giving me an accurate recording of rain. Very easy to pull out the glass cylinder and the metal spiral is secure and strong. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely metal tins for everyday storage

Lovely metal tins and holds a good amount of tea bags. The coffee tin fits a 10 packet of coffee sachets comfortably and tall enough to keep a small pair of scissors inside to cut off the tops of sachets - very convenient having scissors inside the tin. Has a secure lid with seal so it keeps product fresh. Very happy with these bench canisters as they are a perfect size and not overtaking my bench, but large enough to hold good supply of product for everyday use.

Elegant and gorgeous - practical size perfect color for my new kitchen

Elegant and gorgeous - perfect color for my new kitchen. It holds the 250gm size real butter perfectly with a deep & wide enough base so the lid is well clear of butter getting on edges of lid. I replaced this with my china butter dish because butter was not contained properly and it was always looking messy with butter everywhere. This is perfect and really elegant in style - looks lovely on dining room table when I have guests and so nice I keep it on my kitchen bench. This gorgeous butter dish would suit all styles of kitchens.
