Christmas Red Truck Metal Bucket with Handle | Vintage Galvanised Oval Tub Planter

A proper old-fashioned galvanised tub with a Christmas twist. The oval body has that lovely mottled zinc patina that looks like it has been sitting in a shed for decades, and across the front is a vintage red pickup truck hauling a Christmas tree, with "Merry Christmas" in faded red lettering and a little Christmas Tree Farm sign on the tray. A sturdy black swing handle with a smooth timber grip makes it easy to carry from room to room.

It earns its keep all year. Fill it with a leafy plant or a pot of blooms on the veranda, stack it with kindling or pine cones by the fire, use it as a gift hamper base, load it with rolled towels in the bathroom, or park it under the tree to hold presents and stocking fillers. It is one of those pieces that looks better the more you use it.

📏 Size

  • Bucket: 31 x 22 x 18cm (12.2 x 8.7 x 7.1 inches)
  • Overall height with the handle raised: 35cm (13.8 inches)

✨ Key Features

  • Vintage galvanised metal with a naturally mottled zinc patina
  • Charming red Christmas truck and Merry Christmas artwork on the front
  • Roomy oval shape at 31 x 22 x 18cm — easier to tuck against a wall than a round tub
  • Sturdy swing handle with a comfortable timber grip, 35cm tall with the handle up
  • Endlessly useful as a planter, storage tub, gift hamper or display piece
  • Farmhouse and country styling that works well beyond Christmas
  • A great gift for anyone who loves rustic and festive decorating

🌿 Perfect For

  • Christmas tree bases, gift displays and festive table styling
  • Indoor and veranda planters for pot plants and herbs
  • Kindling, pine cone and firewood storage by the fireplace
  • Gift hampers and Christmas gift baskets
  • Bathroom towel storage and laundry tidying
  • Farmhouse, country and rustic interiors
  • Christmas and housewarming gifts

⚠️ Please Note

  • The galvanised finish and printed artwork vary slightly piece to piece — that distressed, weathered look is intentional
  • Not sealed or waterproof — use a plastic liner or an inner pot with a saucer when planting so water does not sit in the base
  • Best kept in a sheltered spot rather than out in the weather, so the print stays looking its best

Love them - these remind me of old vintage secateurs

These remind me of old vintage secateurs - they are easy to use and comfortable handles - really love them and they have been excellent cutting flowers and trimming small branches away. Definitely my favorite pair of secateurs and use them all the time! I had the bird hooks [another purchase from Renmy Store] mounted on a piece of timber and it hangs up outside in my garden utility area - the secateurs hang here on the middle hook and very convenient to grab when out in the garden.

Practical rain guage and looks gorgeous.

This is so lovely and has been very useful measuring recent rain - it secures well into ground but I decided to use mine inside a tall pot plant and it is attractive addition to the pot plant - and practical giving me an accurate recording of rain. Very easy to pull out the glass cylinder and the metal spiral is secure and strong. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely metal tins for everyday storage

Lovely metal tins and holds a good amount of tea bags. The coffee tin fits a 10 packet of coffee sachets comfortably and tall enough to keep a small pair of scissors inside to cut off the tops of sachets - very convenient having scissors inside the tin. Has a secure lid with seal so it keeps product fresh. Very happy with these bench canisters as they are a perfect size and not overtaking my bench, but large enough to hold good supply of product for everyday use.

Elegant and gorgeous - practical size perfect color for my new kitchen

Elegant and gorgeous - perfect color for my new kitchen. It holds the 250gm size real butter perfectly with a deep & wide enough base so the lid is well clear of butter getting on edges of lid. I replaced this with my china butter dish because butter was not contained properly and it was always looking messy with butter everywhere. This is perfect and really elegant in style - looks lovely on dining room table when I have guests and so nice I keep it on my kitchen bench. This gorgeous butter dish would suit all styles of kitchens.
