Hens & Cocks Toilet Door Signs | Hen & Rooster Bathroom Signs | Australian Made

Add a little country character to your bathroom doors with our Hens and Cocks toilet signs. Hens replaces the traditional Ladies wording and features a watercolour hen surrounded by a floral wreath. Cocks replaces Gents and features a cheeky rooster wearing glasses. Large black serif lettering gives the design an easy-to-read, classic finish.

The Hens design has a white background, with the complete hen and wreath artwork contained within the rectangular sign. The Cocks design features the supplied rooster artwork. Made and designed by our small Australian family business, these signs suit farmhouse bathrooms, country cafés, accommodation and venues.

Choose a Premium Acrylic Sign or Sticker / Decal Only, then your design selection and size. Suitable for indoor or outdoor display.

Default Wording & What You Get

  • Hens: one Hens sign with floral-wreath hen artwork. Select the currently labelled Ladies Only Sign option.
  • Cocks: one Cocks sign with rooster-in-glasses artwork. Select the currently labelled Gents Only Sign option.
  • Set of 2: one Hens sign and one Cocks sign in your selected material option and size.

The default wording is Hens or Cocks as selected. If you would like different wording, add your text in the order notes at checkout or send us a message. If there are no instructions, the default design applies.

Size / Dimensions

  • Small — 15 x 5cm (approximately 5.91 x 1.97 inches), a 3:1 landscape ratio
  • Large — 28 x 10cm (approximately 11.02 x 3.94 inches)
  • X Large — 37 x 12.5cm (approximately 14.57 x 4.92 inches)
  • XX Large — 60 x 20cm (approximately 23.62 x 7.87 inches)

Sizes apply to each individual sign. The XX Large acrylic sign comes with a mount at the back, not wire.

Option 1: Premium Acrylic Sign

  • Premium acrylic sign, Australian made and designed
  • Hens with floral hen artwork or Cocks with rooster artwork
  • Bold black serif lettering
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Plaque Sign: no hanging attachments; use suitable adhesive or mounting tape
  • Hanging Sign, Small, Large and X Large: metal wire attached at the top-left and top-right corners, ready to hang
  • XX Large: supplied with a rear mount instead of wire

Mounting Ideas — Wall, Fence, Stake & More

  • Adhesive or mounting tape: use suitable heavy-duty tape, such as 3M VHB, on a clean, dry, smooth surface.
  • Command strips: follow the manufacturer's surface suitability and weight limits.
  • Screws with pre-drilled holes: request the hole size and exact positions when ordering.
  • Door, letterbox or post: choose suitable adhesive, outdoor tape or requested pre-drilled holes for the mounting surface.
  • Stake display: attach a plaque to a flat timber or metal stake using exterior-grade tape, or fix through holes requested when ordering. For larger or exposed signs, use a sturdy stake and secure fixings.

Important: Do not drill or pierce the acrylic yourself, as it can crack and damage the sign. Request any required pre-drilled holes when ordering.

Option 2: Premium Vinyl Sticker / Decal

A lightweight, self-adhesive version of your selected Hens or Cocks design, without an acrylic sign. The decal is cut closely to the design with no extra white margin; the Hens design itself includes its white background.

  • Premium white 80-micron polymeric self-adhesive vinyl
  • Full-colour artwork with black serif wording
  • Up to 5 years indoor and outdoor durability, depending on exposure
  • Applies to suitable smooth, clean surfaces
  • Easy peel-and-stick application

Application Instructions

  1. Clean and dry the surface. Do not apply to wet, dusty, greasy, rough or peeling surfaces.
  2. Peel a small section of the backing, align the decal and apply gradually from one edge.
  3. Smooth from the centre outward with a squeegee, card or clean cloth to remove air bubbles.

Love them - these remind me of old vintage secateurs

These remind me of old vintage secateurs - they are easy to use and comfortable handles - really love them and they have been excellent cutting flowers and trimming small branches away. Definitely my favorite pair of secateurs and use them all the time! I had the bird hooks [another purchase from Renmy Store] mounted on a piece of timber and it hangs up outside in my garden utility area - the secateurs hang here on the middle hook and very convenient to grab when out in the garden.

Practical rain guage and looks gorgeous.

This is so lovely and has been very useful measuring recent rain - it secures well into ground but I decided to use mine inside a tall pot plant and it is attractive addition to the pot plant - and practical giving me an accurate recording of rain. Very easy to pull out the glass cylinder and the metal spiral is secure and strong. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely metal tins and holds a good amount of tea bags. The coffee tin fits a 10 packet of coffee sachets comfortably and tall enough to keep a small pair of scissors inside to cut off the tops of sachets - very convenient having scissors inside the tin. Has a secure lid with seal so it keeps product fresh. Very happy with these bench canisters as they are a perfect size and not overtaking my bench, but large enough to hold good supply of product for everyday use.
