Rooster Cast Iron Doorbell 19cm

Welcome visitors with a colourful country detail. This hand-painted rooster cast iron doorbell pairs a proud rooster with a decorative floral bracket and a traditional hanging bell. Red, golden-yellow and dark blue tones bring the rooster to life, while painted flowers and foliage add character beneath the supporting arm.

Picture it beside a timber cottage door or on a farmhouse porch, ready to greet guests with a pull of the cream cord. Its vintage-inspired finish complements rustic entrances and makes a thoughtful gift for chicken keepers and country-home enthusiasts.

Key Features

  • Heavy cast iron construction with a hand-painted rustic finish.
  • Colourful rooster above the bell arm, with floral details beneath.
  • Patterned hanging bell and cream pull cord.
  • Manual operation, no wiring or batteries required.
  • Approximately 19cm tall x 14.5cm wide (7.48 x 5.71 inches).
  • Weight: 681g (approximately 1.50lb).

Size & Specifications

  • Overall size: approximately 19cm tall x 14.5cm wide / 7.48 x 5.71 inches.
  • Bell size: approximately 7.7cm x 5.5cm / 3.03 x 2.17 inches.
  • Weight: 681g / approximately 1.50lb.
  • Material: cast iron.
  • Finish: hand-painted, vintage-inspired rustic finish.
  • Operation: manual bell with pull cord.
  • Fixings: mounting screws are not included.

Mounting & Use

Secure the vertical mounting plate to a suitable wall, door surround or sturdy post using hardware appropriate for the surface and the 681g weight. Leave room for the bell and cord to move freely, and position the pull within comfortable reach. Screws are not included.

Perfect For

Farmhouse porches, cottage entrances, country homes and rustic garden-door styling. A characterful housewarming, birthday or Christmas gift for rooster collectors, chicken keepers and lovers of farm-inspired decor.

Care

Wipe clean with a dry cloth. A sheltered mounting position helps limit exposure to moisture and protects the painted finish. Rustic colour and finish variations are part of the design.

Love them - these remind me of old vintage secateurs

These remind me of old vintage secateurs - they are easy to use and comfortable handles - really love them and they have been excellent cutting flowers and trimming small branches away. Definitely my favorite pair of secateurs and use them all the time! I had the bird hooks [another purchase from Renmy Store] mounted on a piece of timber and it hangs up outside in my garden utility area - the secateurs hang here on the middle hook and very convenient to grab when out in the garden.

Practical rain guage and looks gorgeous.

This is so lovely and has been very useful measuring recent rain - it secures well into ground but I decided to use mine inside a tall pot plant and it is attractive addition to the pot plant - and practical giving me an accurate recording of rain. Very easy to pull out the glass cylinder and the metal spiral is secure and strong. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely metal tins for everyday storage

Lovely metal tins and holds a good amount of tea bags. The coffee tin fits a 10 packet of coffee sachets comfortably and tall enough to keep a small pair of scissors inside to cut off the tops of sachets - very convenient having scissors inside the tin. Has a secure lid with seal so it keeps product fresh. Very happy with these bench canisters as they are a perfect size and not overtaking my bench, but large enough to hold good supply of product for everyday use.

Elegant and gorgeous - practical size perfect color for my new kitchen

Elegant and gorgeous - perfect color for my new kitchen. It holds the 250gm size real butter perfectly with a deep & wide enough base so the lid is well clear of butter getting on edges of lid. I replaced this with my china butter dish because butter was not contained properly and it was always looking messy with butter everywhere. This is perfect and really elegant in style - looks lovely on dining room table when I have guests and so nice I keep it on my kitchen bench. This gorgeous butter dish would suit all styles of kitchens.
