Tropical Island MDF Craft Shape
Create a coastal artwork with this raw MDF tropical island craft shape. Four palm trees frame a beach umbrella and reclining deckchair on a curved island silhouette. Made in Queensland, Australia, this unfinished flat cutout is ready to paint, decorate or leave raw for a simple beach-inspired project.
Key Features
- Tropical island scene with four palms, umbrella and deckchair.
- Raw MDF surface for painting, decoupage and mixed-media crafts.
- 3mm thickness (approximately 0.12 inches).
- Naturally occurring dark laser-cut edges.
- Australian made in Queensland, Australia.
Size & Dimensions
The existing listing supplies these palm-tree measurements:
- Large palm tree detail: approximately 29cm tall x 17cm wide at the leaves (11.42 x 6.69 inches).
- Little palm tree detail: approximately 10cm tall x 6.3cm wide at the leaves (3.94 x 2.48 inches).
- MDF thickness: 3mm / 0.3cm (approximately 0.12 inches).
These are the supplied palm measurements, not a confirmed overall width of the complete island scene. The overall scene dimensions are not specified.
Creative Art & Craft Ideas
- Coastal wall art: paint the palms and beach scene in your favourite seaside palette and attach to a suitable backing board.
- Tropical mosaic project: add small lightweight tile accents to the island and broader areas, keeping narrow trunks, fronds and chair details clear and supporting the finished weight.
- Beach-house decor: use muted colours or leave the MDF raw for a simple silhouette.
- Decoupage: add beach-themed paper, maps or patterned fabric to suit your project.
- Holiday keepsake: personalise the island area with a destination or date.
- Party styling: use on a backing board for tropical birthdays or summer displays.
- Mixed-media art: combine with lightweight shells, paper and painted backgrounds for an indoor coastal scene.
Use & Care
This is a flat craft cutout, not a freestanding ornament with a stand. Support the narrow palms and umbrella details while handling. Keep MDF dry and use indoors. Choose attachments suitable for your project and finished weight. Paint, adhesives, backing boards and styling props are not included.

Let customers speak for us
I ordered the small Bathroom and Toilet door signs with the French Scroll. I could not be happier they are delightful, just the right size and the French Scroll gIves them just the right amount of class and style. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, what you receive is just perfect !
Love my sign as it added to our precious purchase sign. They look fantastic together and symbolise our two lost fur babies.
Great product. The bookends were heavy, looked amazing and were a well received gift!
Quick delivery especially being over Christmas Time
Very Happy with the sign and workmanship,
Will definitely shop here again 👍
Love this light weight Clock, is a perfect match looks fantastic!!
It was exactly what I wanted for my home! Much appreciated 😄
Absolutely AWESOME!!!! Thank you guys
We absolutely LOVE our new cow clock. I couldn’t wait to hang it on our wall. It’s perfect for our country themed lounge room and It’s light and good quality.
Well made and gorgeous cushion. Lovely fabric and the perfect Christmas gift for my wildlife loving friend.
These remind me of old vintage secateurs - they are easy to use and comfortable handles - really love them and they have been excellent cutting flowers and trimming small branches away. Definitely my favorite pair of secateurs and use them all the time! I had the bird hooks [another purchase from Renmy Store] mounted on a piece of timber and it hangs up outside in my garden utility area - the secateurs hang here on the middle hook and very convenient to grab when out in the garden.
This is so lovely and has been very useful measuring recent rain - it secures well into ground but I decided to use mine inside a tall pot plant and it is attractive addition to the pot plant - and practical giving me an accurate recording of rain. Very easy to pull out the glass cylinder and the metal spiral is secure and strong. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely metal tins and holds a good amount of tea bags. The coffee tin fits a 10 packet of coffee sachets comfortably and tall enough to keep a small pair of scissors inside to cut off the tops of sachets - very convenient having scissors inside the tin. Has a secure lid with seal so it keeps product fresh. Very happy with these bench canisters as they are a perfect size and not overtaking my bench, but large enough to hold good supply of product for everyday use.
Elegant and gorgeous - perfect color for my new kitchen. It holds the 250gm size real butter perfectly with a deep & wide enough base so the lid is well clear of butter getting on edges of lid. I replaced this with my china butter dish because butter was not contained properly and it was always looking messy with butter everywhere. This is perfect and really elegant in style - looks lovely on dining room table when I have guests and so nice I keep it on my kitchen bench. This gorgeous butter dish would suit all styles of kitchens.
Loved supporting an Australian company. Promt delivery and product is great. Will definitely recommend to friends
Love the sign - its perfect for our needs and a bit of a country theme that i wanted. Renee and her hubby always do an amazing job on their signs. Ive been ordering for a couple of years now. Never let me down. They can make anything
