🐴 Vintage Wooden Rocking Horse Ornament

Bring nostalgic charm to a shelf or sideboard with this wooden rocking horse ornament. The tall, elegant horse silhouette, decorative saddle and bridle, and curled iron rockers recall traditional rocking horses in a compact display piece. Its distressed finish suits country cottages, French provincial interiors and thoughtful equestrian displays.

✨ Features

  • Wooden horse: painted with an aged, distressed appearance
  • Iron rocker base: slender curved rails with decorative spiral ends
  • Traditional details: sculpted mane, tail, saddle and bridle
  • Two finishes: white with contrasting dark mane and tail, or weathered grey
  • Decorative display piece: sized for a shelf, console or sideboard

📐 Size & Specifications

  • Approximate height: 24cm (9.45 inches)
  • Approximate length: 22.5cm (8.86 inches)
  • Approximate width: 5cm (1.97 inches)
  • Materials: wood and iron
  • Includes: 1 rocking horse ornament in your selected finish
  • Country of origin: China

The supplier allows up to 2cm variation due to manual measurement. Each purchase includes one horse, not a pair.

🎨 Finish Guide

  • Distressed White: white horse with a dark mane and tail, dark saddle and bridle, and brown-toned iron rockers
  • Weathered Grey: grey horse with a worn, washed finish, dark saddle and bridle, and brown-toned iron rockers

Use the matching variant image when choosing your finish.

🏡 Styling & Gift Ideas

  • Add a nostalgic accent to a farmhouse sideboard
  • Pair with neutral ceramics in a French provincial living room
  • Create a horse-inspired shelf display
  • Style as a decorative keepsake for a baby shower, placed out of children's reach
  • Give as a birthday, Christmas or housewarming gift for a horse lover

🧽 Display & Care

This is a decorative ornament, not a toy or ride-on rocking horse. The supplier recommends ages 14+. Display on a stable surface away from edges and out of reach of young children. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth and avoid soaking.

Books, flowers and other styling accessories are not included.

Love them - these remind me of old vintage secateurs

These remind me of old vintage secateurs - they are easy to use and comfortable handles - really love them and they have been excellent cutting flowers and trimming small branches away. Definitely my favorite pair of secateurs and use them all the time! I had the bird hooks [another purchase from Renmy Store] mounted on a piece of timber and it hangs up outside in my garden utility area - the secateurs hang here on the middle hook and very convenient to grab when out in the garden.

Practical rain guage and looks gorgeous.

This is so lovely and has been very useful measuring recent rain - it secures well into ground but I decided to use mine inside a tall pot plant and it is attractive addition to the pot plant - and practical giving me an accurate recording of rain. Very easy to pull out the glass cylinder and the metal spiral is secure and strong. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely metal tins for everyday storage

Lovely metal tins and holds a good amount of tea bags. The coffee tin fits a 10 packet of coffee sachets comfortably and tall enough to keep a small pair of scissors inside to cut off the tops of sachets - very convenient having scissors inside the tin. Has a secure lid with seal so it keeps product fresh. Very happy with these bench canisters as they are a perfect size and not overtaking my bench, but large enough to hold good supply of product for everyday use.

Elegant and gorgeous - practical size perfect color for my new kitchen

Elegant and gorgeous - perfect color for my new kitchen. It holds the 250gm size real butter perfectly with a deep & wide enough base so the lid is well clear of butter getting on edges of lid. I replaced this with my china butter dish because butter was not contained properly and it was always looking messy with butter everywhere. This is perfect and really elegant in style - looks lovely on dining room table when I have guests and so nice I keep it on my kitchen bench. This gorgeous butter dish would suit all styles of kitchens.
